Legal Question in Traffic Law in Iowa
25 year old ticket?
The other day I went to renew my tags but was imformed I couldn't because Franklin county, Ia. had put a hold on my drivers lic. I later contacted the clerk of courts for the county and was told they had a ticket from 1982 issued in my name for speeding in a blue mustang first of all never happen, But isn't there some kind of statue of limitation on something this old??

Yes there is and you can hire an attorney and go and get the ticket dismissed, but it'll probably cost you less to just pay it.
