Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

2 days ago, I was injured in an auto accident on my way to work. I was not at fault (other vehicle rear-ended me). My question is whether or not I am able to collect workers comp in this situation. I am located in Iowa. Thanks.

You may be able to receive workers' compensation benefits. It will depend on whether your job requires you to provide transportation. i.e., do you use your car/truck for work? If yes then the going and coming rule will allow you to receive workers' compensation benefits.
