Legal Question in Workers Comp in Iowa

I live in Iowa and work for a cable company. I was installing cable at a customers house and was on a ten foot house ladder. My elbow rubbed up against a power line and the last thing I remember, I woke up ten feet back with a headache and chest pain. I noticed that there was torn up electrical tape on the power line leading from the poke to the house. The torn up tape was close to the house but not at the house yet. I called my supervisor and they took me to the ER were a heart monitor was used and a CT scan of my head was taken. They sent me home and then a little later on I seen a cardiologist that my employers insurance company was paying for. They paid for the medical bills for a little while but then they stopped because they said they found something in my past medical history. I was wondering how long back can they look and what rights I have? Do I have a possible case against the insurance company and/or the power company? I have photos of the power line.

This question is fact specific and doesn't lend itself to be answered on a public Q&A network. The lawyer will need to know more about the heart condition alledged by the employer. Also what is it with that power line? Do you have a third-party case against the power line company? I'm not sure. See a lawyer.
