Not Understanding The Insurance Company Please Help

Ok my story is long as it has been almost 2 years since my injury. Basically I hurt my thumb on the job and the cast that I got was too tight so they replaced it with one that was equally tight and I ended up with what they called a pressure ulser on my palm near my pinky finger. The Drs only treatment was to take off the cast. After a few days the pain was so bad and the ulser had grown big and black so I was sent to the Mayo Clinic in MN. Once there I underwent many surgeries in my two week stay. Since then I have had about 17 surgeries due to infections at the site (one was a skin graft). The final surgery I had a few weeks ago was an amputation of my pinky finger and part of my hand. I found out that I haven't been getting the total benefits I'm entitled to and they agree to that but have failed to make up the difference. Also I am still owed about $2000 back payment when they suspended my benefits because a snow storm kept me from my appt at Mayo which is 3 hours from where I live. Since I couldn't get another appt for almost 2 months i never got paid even though they couldn't suspend me for not going because of snow. Also I was wondering what kind of permanent disability payment I will get because of the loss of my finger.
