Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Italy

I moved to Italy from USA to marry, live and work in my wife to be's company. Her family decided I was not suitable for her when I soon after arrived in Italy, where she is from. She told me I had to leave, it won't work for us. She knows I quit my job, my home to move to here. She knew I had little money, no home or job in europe or USA did not offer me any money or help. Just told to leave. I am traumatized, and very unstable and I want to sue her for damages for broken promises etc.. Can I sue her ? I have nothing in USA and nothing in Italy because of her.

If you have been engaged, fixed the wedding, there have been disappointed expectations that can build up for a request of damages.
