Legal Question in Personal Injury in Italy

injury

Hi, I was injured while on vacation overseas which resulted in me requiring surgery to repair a muscle in my arm, stitches in an out of my right arm due to a fall on a wet floor in a house. There is no home owners insurance there (italy) is there anything i can do?

you need to determine what caused the fall. Are those liable US Citizens?

whatever the reason's fall is, you are entitled to be refund for your injures by the house's owner/manager.

According to Italian Law, each house owner is always liable for damages caused to people consequently to his negligence (like in the case you described).

Therefore, even if the owner is not insured against such kind of responsability, you can ask for damages compensation.
