Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Italy

Property In Italy

My mother's family has had land in Italy for many years. She recently recieved a legal notice to appear in Italy to defend her family's right to the land or it will be given to squatters. We have until June 14 to respond and given the short notice we are unable to respond. We would like to request an extension and make arrangements to view the land or negotiate with the parties. What are our options?

Re: Property In Italy

Where is the land exactly? If you want, you can send the legal notice to our Office, via fax or via email, and we will try to evaluate possible extensions or arrange an answer in time.

Best Regards.
