Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Japan

Posting a complaint on the web of a faulty product

Due to lack of cooperation from the Doctor, I have made

a website complaining about the Company, and have

offered to take it down if he resolves the problem. Do I

have the right to do this as a consumer? or is it looked

at as bribe in the court of internet law?

Thank you

Re: Posting a complaint on the web of a faulty product

Thanks for your questions. If the website portrays the Dr. in a false light or defames him in any way, attacks his reputation or accuses him of malpractice or attributes criminal conduct ti him, you may be defamation or invasion of privacy, among other causes of action. That is CA law and I don't know where you are. It really depends on the content of your site. I also need more info on the problem and what "lack of cooperation" exactly is. There is no "internet court" but certainly state and federal laws and regulations will apply.
