Legal Question in Business Law in Kansas

hello i was let go from my job yesterday, all because i got into a altercation with 2 females i work with a week prior to this, and they were bitter so they started a rumor and told my manager some false information and he let me go from it. they had no proof of any of this happened or any physical evidence, i am a minority in my workplace and i believe that had something to do this decision... do i have a lawsuit? and many of my co workers will vouch for me.

In order to preserve your right to sue yoru foremer employer later, you need to file a complaint with the EEOC or comparable state agency. You only have a short time in which to do this. as to the coworkers, you may be able to file suit now for the false statements that painted you in negative light, resulting in your termination. Again, you have limited time in whish to bring this case or it wil be barred by statute.

Good luck
