Re: falsly accused

If you are accused of abusing a child, it is a serious charge. So serious, that an attorney will be appointed to represent you, if you cannot afford one. Many people say they have no money for an attorney, but they have large televisions, multiple vehicles, and other things that are easily sold to pay for an attorney. Hopefully you will not be charged with something you did not do. But, if you are, consider how valuable your material goods will be to you, if you are in jail, or forced to register as sex offender for the rest of your life.

If the child's father has made a knowingly false statement that you abused a child, that could certialy cast your reputation in a negative light in society. You may be able to sue him in a civil suit. In that suit, you could seek, among other things, to get recompensed for what you have to spend to defend the false accusations in criminal court.

Good Luck
