Back alimony and cd's
My ex husband owes me over 40,000. He recently recd. an estate amount and invested it in a CD that he says he cannot get to for 5 to 10 yrs.
Can an atty. do anything to help me get some of this money? Or, is it untouchable?

Please let me know where in Kansas you are located. There may be a way to get your money or at least a share of it out of his assets. Your case depends on whether you have revived your judgement when necessary and made attempts to collect your support.
