my husband left our son and i a year ago and there has been no contact i have tried to serve him divorce papres through the mail without sucuess. How do i go about getting a divorce now?

If you go to see a family law attorney, they can explain to you that you can serve your husband in several different ways. One is to publish notice of the divorce in a designated newspaper over a several week period. I hope that he comes back and you reconcile.
