There is nto great restriction on a parent takin gtheir chidl across state lines. Without a custody arangement or Order pursuant to a divorce, the fahter can always get the kids and bring thme back, or keep you from taking them with you. Your decisi0n to move to Minnesaote, will nto excuse you from other legal obligations in Kansas, i.e rent/ mortgage, car note, utilities, etc.

Good luck
