permission to take child to dentist

Can anybody just make an appointment for my 17 year old daughter. her boyfriends parents made an appointment, and paid for it right out of their pocket and we didnt know anything about it until the other day, just wanted to know can they do this.

It would require more facts to determine if the action by your child's boyfreind's parents was unlawful. If the dentistry would is deemed neccesary to prevent great harm to your child, the dentist may be able to come after you for the bill, had the other kid's parents not paid.

If the facts shwo that it was not that necessary, then you may have a civil action against the dentist and the other kid's parent(s).
