My step-son is going through a divorce and his wife left with all of his personal property that was brought into the marriage:
Q. Are the things that he brought into the marriage considered joint property and can she force him to sell property in order for her to receive half the value?

Once a divorce if filed, all property comes under the jurisdication of the court and is subject ot division by the court.
