Legal Question in Family Law in Kansas

I am a resident of kansas of legal age. As a child I was adopted by my stepfather in the state of kansas. It was a purely financial decision made by the adults in my life. I have always had a relationship with my biological father. My stepfather divorced my mother and no longer wanted a relationship with my sister nor myself. He has since passed away and we would like to have the adoption vacatel and our original birth certificates restored. Is this possible in Kansas?

In some instances it is possible to annul an adoption, however, it may be easier for your biological father to re-adopt you since adult adoptions are permissible in Kansas.
