Re: Fmla

FMLA coverage depends more upon what the doctor requires you to do in response to the condition, than the condition itself. Specific conditions are not covered by the FMLA. Rather, 'serious health conditions' are covered. What constitutes a serious health conditions depends on the amount of time you have to miss from work, what your doctor says about your inability to work and your treatment plan. For more information about what constitutes a 'serious health condition' you can visit my website, www.memphisemploymentlawyer.net. Also the Department of Labor has an excellent resource, www.dol.gov.
