Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Kansas

This past February, my girlfriend moved across the country from Washington to Kansas. We have broken up recently and she is moving back. She is asking for a car and cash to help her move. We did buy some new furniture and we agree'd on what she can take with her (couch, table etc...) but I am stuck with the bill that was created to finance the furniture purchase. I don't mind helping her out but what are my rights as far as having to buy her a vehicle, paying the furniture bill and forking over a wad of cash to her.

Legally, you have no obligation to provide her with a vehicle or cash. If you are to pay for furniture that she is taking with her, she should be giving you cash.

Good luck
