change of status, need someone to help me with paperrwork.

I am in US on J1, got marred and now applying for a change of my status. It would be great to have some help with paper work, I herd there is people who will help you with that. We are not able to hire attorney. So some information would be very useful.

I am living in Kansas city KS.

Are you subject to the two-year residency requirement? If you are, you may have to retain an attorney to overcome that issue.
