Lease termination
If I purchase a home, can I break my current lease with my apartment complex without paying a penalty. I live in Kansas. If I can, could you please let me know the law so that I can present it to my apartment complex. Thank you.

It depends on your lease. You'll need to review, or have an attorney review, your lease in order to answer your question. Most likely you cannot break your lease without paying a penalty.
