Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Kansas

Kidney Failure Misdiagnosis

For seven years I was treated with iron and vitamin B for a case of severe anemia that did not respond to either treatment. I was sent to an internist and a cancer doctor, did not come up with a reason for my low blood count. I lost the sight in one eye and saw a new doctro who ran me through a battery of tests. Concluded that I was suffering from an autoimmune disorder that was damaging my kidneys. Sent me to a kidney doctor , kidney tests determined rapidly losing kidney function because of emboli that had taken out my sight in the left eye and was destroying my kidneys. Both new doctors and those I saw at the Mayo clinic stated that I had been suffering from the disorder for several years. My primary physician, the internist and the cancer doctors should have noticed my rising creatine didn't. I was told that svere anemia is a symtom of end stage kidney disease. I want to know if I have any basis to sue the doctors that misgianosed me.

Re: Kidney Failure Misdiagnosis

The internist and the cancer doctor may be liable

for their failure to diagnose your condition.

Have any of the doctors that have seen you since

the proper diagnosis said that you should have

been dianosed earlier? You will need an expert

opinion stating that the first doctors diviated

from the standard of care by failing to diagnose.
