Legal Question in Traffic Law in Kansas
ticket
i just go pulled over for supposedly running a red light and the cop for got the check the box on the ticket that says that's what i did do i still have to pay the fine?

Yes, you still have to pay the fine. Or you could set it for a court hearing. By the time it gets to trial and the cop has to show up, he may have forgotten what he cited you for. In that instance, I believe the DA or City Prosecutor would have to dismiss the ticket.
However, I am not guaranteeing or promising that the cop will forget why he wrote the ticket. He may very well remember.
