Legal Question in Workers Comp in Kansas

I been on my job for 35yrs I was diagnoised with mild carpral tunnel syndrome in both hands accidentally by my Ortho Dr. I had had shoulder surgery and started to have some numbness and tinging in my hands he did some test on me to check to see what it was and he found it to be mild carpral tunnel, well the symptoms went away well after 2years I pick up a heavy bag and torn my shoulder again and the hand numbness and tinging is back and also I have som swelling in my wrist .I file a workmen comp claim for my wrist. hands and my shoulder since then I had shoulder surgery again, and my employer is taking care of that, but my wrist and hand their not. because their Dr. said that it was preexisting. He claims that my sleeping patterns could have cause the capral tunnel syndrome. I just wondering should fight this or leave it alone wondering since the laws has changed fo workmen comp.

You should consult an experienced workers compensation lawyer. It appears that you have a good shoulder case, and you cannot trust a company doctor to give you the last word on pre-existing conditions. We are here to help.
