Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Kentucky

i would like to know the right i have concering the department of child welfare. my sister as had them on her case for over a year now.well she had left her now to be ex.and has had to stay with me ... with me myself no having a past record or an open case do i have to D.i ould like to know the right i have concering the department of child welfare. my sister as had them on her case for over a year now.well she had left her now to be ex.and has had to stay with me ... with me myself no having a past record or an open case do i have to D.B.C.S in my home when ever they just pop up.and if i dont can they get a serch warrent and bust in my door.also with me having no history and no open case can they come in and place my children some where eles if my house is dirty but not filthy.... and can they make me put my cats out of my home if their is no evedince that they use the bathroom anywhere other then their box...

You don't have to let them in, but that doesn't mean they won't seek to remove the child if you don't cooperate. The problem doesn't seem like it is your home, but the unstable environment the child has been in while changing homes so often. You are under scrutiny now because your sister is. And if the Cabinet finds your home to be unsafe, which is certainly subjective on a middle class standard of what constitutes safe, they can seek removal of your children as well. I'd suggest cooperating, keeping your house spotless, and if your house smells like cat, take care of it. Until the Cabinet closes the investigation, you all should be on your best behavior. And if your children are removed, get an attorney immediately.
