Internet Photo

What action can be taken against a person or company who posts nude and sexual photographs or movies on the internet without permission. Does it matter if this person or company is also selling them on the internet?

Is the subject you? If so, without your consent the publishing party is subject to substantial damages. Not only is this an invasion of your privacy, but also commercial exploitation without consent. There are several measures of damages, including punitive damages.

It depends upon who owns the rights to the images. If the subject signed a release in favor of the publisher, there is nothing which can be done. If s/he didn't, the subject may be entitled to substantial money damages from the publisher if they are used commercially and generate a profit.
