Legal music on hold
We sell and install phone systems and alot of our customers would like to have music on hold. I need to know what to tell them to purchase as far as a CD that is legal for them to play. I thought as long as they purchased a CD they could play this for their music on hold am I wrong?
Should you look for something special on the CD that lets you know you can play it?

I think they will run into trouble with ASCAP,etc.
If you need a legal opinion, I am available for that.You will be the likely defendant in an infringement action.
