Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kentucky

My son is 18 years old and has been charged with 1st degree robbery, trafficing in marajuana less than 5 pounds complicity and assault. This is his first offense. We believe that he was on drugs and was being influenced by an older adult male, age 33, that was also arrested on these charges. We live in kentucky. What can we expect??

Hopefully he has a good defense, those are serious felony charges, with lengthy penalties. Since you didn't state what the charges specifically are, I can't give you sentencing guidelines, but maybe if he has a good defense, no prior criminal history, and the judge and Commonwealth are both sympathetic to him, he might be able to pull a reduced sentence/probated sentence or even shock probation after serving 30 days. Keep in touch with his attorney about what you can do to help.
