Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Kentucky

Went to HR twice and nothing was done do I have a case?

I work for a major corporation in louisville, KY. I have had continuous issues with my manager who has embarrased me, screamed at me, physically dug her fingernails into my arm, gave opportunities to co-workers which she refused to afforded to me, degraded me in front of my co-workers, belittled me about attending a childs funeral, comments on how women are always superior to men, and the list goes on. This manager also had meetings where she would tell us of her conversations with dead reletives, who she saw floating in front of her car, on the way to work. I and a coworker initially went to our site president to ask him what we should do and he called her manager directly. The manager ended up not doing anything about this except telling her what we said. She retaliated against the two of us and targeted me continually until 7 Months later when I and my entire department went to HR. They ''investigated'' all of our ''issues'' but deemed none of it was serious and at most just poor judgement. Now I have applied for another job and she contacted the interviewer and defamed me to them. She has also pulled aside my coworkers who did not apply for the position, said if they applied they would get it. There is much more. Do I have a case?

Re: Went to HR twice and nothing was done do I have a case?

You may have a case if what your manager is saying about you that is preventing you from getting the position is untrue. In addition, you may have a claim if your manager's conduct toward you is motivated by a gender bias or retaliation for a complaint that you made regarding a gender bias.
