Legal Question in Elder Law in Kentucky

I know someone that was a caretaker in Kentucky and she took care of an 89 year old man. She did so much for them and sometimes stayed with them for days at a time. After about 9 months she found out she was leaving and had to move somewhere else because of her husbands job so she asked him for a loan, at first he had to think about it but a few days later he let her have it. It wasn't much. Even after we moved and everytime we visited Kentucky we went to see him and see how him and his wife was doing. We had to stop visiting Kentucky and stay permanent where we moved to. After a year we moved again and she ended up getting a call from an unknown source telling her she has a warrant for her arrest and he said that she stole 20,000 dollars from him but I and other people know that she did not. She only asked for that one loan and a couple others that she said she was going to pay back. They were not a lot of money, maybe a couple hundred dollars and that's it but now all of a sudden he accuses her of stealing 20,000 dollars. She is going to go back and settle this but does anyone have any advice on how to approach this situation if yiur being accused of something yiu did not do?

You don't make statements to anyone, especially the police, and you get a lawyer immediately.
