Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

child custody, visitation, and dna

i had an affair with a woman about a year ago. we were together for several months. during that time she got pregnant. and during the pregnancy she told everyone including me that i was the father. well recently she went back to her exhusband and the baby was just recently born. and now she is denying the child is mine. wont let me see it or anything. so my question is this: is there anything legally i can do to find out if this child is mine? and how to do it?

Re: child custody, visitation, and dna

Absolutely - you need to file a petition to establish paternity, custody and timeshare. Of course, that also includes child support. It should be filed in the county where the child resides.
