Division of Assets.
Hi, I am in my second marriage and our finances are seperate. She makes the house payment and has an adult child. Can she leave the house solely to the child?

First, you may want to consider some marital counseling if things are at this point.
Second, there is no clear answer. I would need to know a lot more facts. At this point, though, you have a claim to at least some portion of the marital residence regardless of whether she pays the loan payment or not.
This interest comes from laws governing distribution of marital property and from laws governing wills, inheritance and descent.
