Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

Full custody for dad

I am currently undergoing a divorce settlement in the state of KY. I will be graduating from medical school in 5/2000, and after settling into a residency am hoping to obtain full custody of my daughter ( 6 yrs ), who currently resides with her mother. I have agreed to give my wife our home, furniture, car, and have already begun paying 150/mo in child support, as this is what is in our agreement (although not finalized yet and although I have an enormous debt from med school that I don't think I'll ever pay off). But my wife is stalling in agreeing to joint custody, and she has become extrememly bitter and hateful since learning that I began dating another woman shortly after we were separated. My daughter spends at least 3 nights a week sleeping at a friend's or relative's home while my wife is out on the town, my wife constantly hangs up on me when I try to talk to her about my daughter, and she has physically threatened both me and my girlfriend. I don't believe that this environment is the best for my child. What things can I do to make it more likely for a judge to grant me full custody?

Since I'm licensed in Tennessee and not in Kentucky, the FIRST thing to do to increas your odds of getting full custody is to listen to your attorner and to follow your attorney's advice.

Beyond that you might check my website. at http://www.jesbeard.com Several of my links there address improving a parent's chances of getting custody. A few of the links you might want to look at are as follows:
