legal age in ky

my son will be 18 in 6 mos. we do not get along living in the same house. his dad cannot do anything with him either. he will not go to scholl or find a job. he has recently showed physical threats towards me. is it legal to make him move out on his own?

He is not emancipated by law until he turns 18. A court can emancipate him early, but for one of several reasons only. One option is to file beyond control charges on him. Call your local clerk's office for instructions. A local judge will have a hearing, and will help out your family with his behavior. Good luck!
