My Rights

I am 45yr old woman who has been married 28 yrs and been 100% faithful.My husband has commited adultry and admitted it.We have one son 19 in college,full time.We own our home,2 vehicles,and owe on 2.I have no work experience except for working 2 months in a flower shop when I was 18 yr old.My husbands income is 103,000 yr and all expensis pd by company; including rent on home in another state.What are his responsibilities to me if I file for divorce?This is the seconed time he has commited adultry.I have documents proving the first time because a child was born to them.He was summonds to court for child support which he faithfully pays to date.Please help.

generally in divroce you are entitled to an equitable division of the property and generally the same applies for the debts. you may also have a claim for maintenance (formerly known as alimony) due to your unemployment and length of marriage. you may also be entitled to reimbursement for a portion of your attorney fees. please contact me if you desire to discuss this matter further at [email protected] or 502-583-2005.
