Re: sex offender after probation

Your question actually raises some complicated questions of law regarding the US Constition. Leaving those aside, and focusing on the practical, I can tell you the likely consequences. If your son gets ins a relationship with someone who has minor children and it is reported, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services would likely remove the children from the home if the parent refuses to end the relationship. There are other variables, such as the nature of his crime, etcetera, that could alter that scenario some.

His best chance of avoiding that scenario and having adult relationships is for your step-son successfully completes sex offender treatment and shows that he has been rehabilitated.
