Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

uncovered medical expenses

I pay 66% of any uncovered medical expenses to my ex wife re: my child. My ex bills me for OTC medications, such as cold meds. Is OTC meds considered uncovered medical expenses? I thought only Rx, co-payments, etc., were only considered and not OTC meds. I pay her child support that should include OTC meds. Right?

Re: uncovered medical expenses

Without seeing the exact order/agreement in your case, I can only say that the typical arrangement is that you would only pay your share of unreimbursed medical expenses and only after the ex paid the first $100.00 per year.

Unreimbursed medical does NOT typically include over the counter drugs - only prescriptions.
