Undo an Adoption

My wife divorced me many years ago and remarried and i let her new husband adopt my 2 & 3 year old daughters.

Now they are divorced and my Ex and i got remarried and now we want the former husband to let our daughters be mine again.

What can we do to undo the Adoption so we can be a family again?

Re: Undo an Adoption

Wow - well, if you have the faith of a mustard seed you can move a mountain. Undoing an adoption that is valid is like moving a mountain. The best scenario would be if he voluntarily terminates his parental rights like you did to allow him to adopt. Then you would have to adopt your daughterts. If he will not agree, then you will need to get ALL of the documents related to the adoption to an attorney versed in adoption law to review them and see if there are any problems with the original adoption proceeding.
