Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Kentucky

gaulbladder removal

About 2 months ago I had my gaulbadder removed and without asking my wife or myself the doctor removed a spot on a diffrent organ for a biopsy that resulted in other problems since then. I am still unable to work or walk without holding under my ribs. I am in worse shape now than before surgery. Is this a proper way of doing things?

Re: gaulbladder removal

You will need to check your written consent forms, but if the doctor performed surgery on the "other organ" without your written or implied consent, and the problems you are having are related to that excess surgery, then you may have a case. Consult a qualified medical malpractice attorney in your area and have them review the records. Best of luck.
