Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Kentucky

I almost lost my life due to a hospital not providing me with the care that I needed and I tried to file a medical malpractice lawsuit on the hospital but by the time I found out that I could file a lawsuit on them for medical malpractice, and found a lawyer to handle my case it was 8 months after. I just needed to know how long a person has to file a medical malpractice lawsuit after the wrong act, and what all of my options are.

The statute of limitations is 12 months after the act of malpractice, or after you would have reasonably discovered it. Sounds like you're still within that time frame, and you have an attorney, just make sure your suit is filed within one year so that your claim is preserved.
