Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky

I replaced the old fence that separated me and my neighbor. The fence was his so he approved the new fence as long as it did not cost him. I paid for the old fence to be removed and replaced. He sold the house and the new owners want me to remove the fence ("it is on their property and my fence").

Am I 100% responsible because it is my fence with the removal \ moving of the fence or is it a shared responsibility because it was a replacement of an established fence with all parties agreement?

You and your neighbor have to shake hands and come to an agreement. There is no other solution. If you all can't figure it out it's going to cost you both a lot more than the cost of the fence.
