Legal Question in Social Security Law in Kentucky

Spouse Income

My husband is going to apply for ssdi and ssi for his back.

He is currently not working. and has not worked since April 2005. I work, making about 43,000 year

Will he be denied because of my income? for ssdi or ssi.

Or does my income matter.

Re: Spouse Income

Disability issues are unrelated to spouse income. I might add that in the first round of applying for benefits, you should be able to do this without the need for legal counsel. If the application is denied, feel free to contact me regarding an appeal, although I hope for your sake that will not be necessary.

Best wishes.
