Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

My father passed when I was six. I recently found out that he had left me and my older brother $25,000 a piece. His evil sister has the c.d's with the money on them. She said she will give us the money when my mother dies because she doesn't like my mom. NOT FAIR. I was told by my other aunt I should of recieved it at age 18 and I am now 22. I have a hugh school loan to pay back which is what he wanted me to do with the money, more and likely. I currently found out I have type 1 diabeties and it is very expensive. Please if you could help me. One lawyer quit answering my calls and visits, I beleive she paid him off.

It is not possible to give you a clear legal answer to your inquiry without a more detailed evaluation of the facts of your case. Several questions are presented:

1. Did your father leave a will giving the CDs to you and your brother?

2. Were you and your brother listed as "POD" (pay on death) on the CDs?

3. Was your father's estate ever probated in court? If so, in which county?

4. Do you have anything in writing concerning your inheritance?

Please answer these questions for me, and I will be able to advise you further.
