Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

inheritance

It is my understanding that when my paternal grandmother died, she had set forth in her will that each of the grandchildren were to receive each the sum of $3000 in the form of cash. She died over a year and a half ago, but I did not learn of this until January of this year, 2005. I believe that it is my father and my uncle who are over-seeing the estate including a law suit against the nursing home my grandmother died in. I cannot get any straight answers from my family. What are my rights and options? Please advise me at your earliest convenience.

Thank you....
