Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Kentucky

My Mother's Estate is in Pobate, we do have a lawyer and an Executor. There are 3 Heirs and the House is for sale, but there is a Mortgage and a few bills due and no money in the Estate account to pay the other 2 heirs will not help to pay any bills but are waiting for the inheritance availbe with hands out. I have been paying the 500. monthly payments, is there any way I can do anything. ! heir is taking the executor to court saying she is not doing her job and mishandling money. Which is raising attonery fees on the estate, but yet they are not giving anything to the estate and they have also asked ofr $14,000.00 for very little work they did at the estate all 3 heirs have done fair share of work, but they think they are the only ones that did. These are people who lie, cheat and steal, which is sad to say, but he is my Brother and when my Mother was sick, he wasn't there to help out. Now that she is gone, he belives it all belongs to him. My mother did live a will and the home is to be sold and money divided to the 3 heirs. The executor has not done anything wrong and paid the Estate bills only. They believe she is not and their lawyer is 86 yrs old and he beleive them. I do not know what I can do. The executor has her lawyer for the Estate, but what can I do about them not paying and can I get them for slander? Thanks for your answer to my problems.

If you have an attorney, ask him or her this question (you say "we do have a lawyer")!

Attorneys are not supposed to communicate concerning legal issues with a person who is represented by an attorney. So, when you indicate that you are represented, any attorney reading your post will likely not respond because you should address your legal questions to the attorney you have already retained and ask him or her for your options. If the lawyer involved is representing the executor only (and if that is not you), consider making an appointment with a probate lawyer to advise you of your options. www.laywers.com could assist you in finding an attorney who concentrates on probate.
