my son co-signed a car for me will banlr hurt him

my son co-signed a car for me. if i go bankrupt on

my other debts except the auto will this hurt his

credit? i pla to continue paying on the car. also

is there any way i could let the car go back and not hurt his credi. the reason i am asking this is he and his wife are continually harassing me about the day i plan to pay the note each month. i have never been late in a year, and i plan to continue to pay on time. the way they harass me i would rather give the car back. thank yo for your assistance.

As long as the payments are made, your son's credit will not be affected. If you default on your payments, then he will be obligated to pay as the co-signer. If he then fails to pay it, it will likely go on his credit record.
