Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

How to get a Lawyer thru Family Services from my sons' death?

On March 11, 2001, my son was murdered in Monroe, La along with 2-11 year old boys. There are still no suspect. A woman had paper work saying she was his grandmother and for some reason his probation officer placed him under house arrest in her house where her grandson (who people that knew the two of them believes the grandson sold my son out, set him up and was there when he was killed but is lying about it) lived. He was under house arrest at his Biological Aunt, on his father's side of the family before the papers were switched by either his probation officer or a lawyer. How do I go about filing a Civil Suit and receive help. I have no money for Attorney Fees but I have applied for VICTIMS of VIOLENT CRIMES COMPENSATION.

Thank you and may God Bless you

Re: How to get a Lawyer thru Family Services from my sons' death?

I've read a couple of the news articles about the killings. Please accept my sincere condolences on your great loss. If you have a cause of action for your son's death, you can get an attorney who handles death cases to take it on a contingency basis. Call me and I will be happy to discuss your options.
