Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

My ex girlfriend using my identity to make credit card accounts in my name. Well I was able to contact her and talk to her about it. I told her I've reported the incident to the police office and talked to a detective that was handling the case and that he was about to go forth to the DA's office and she was going to go to jail for it.Well she told me she was sorry, was about to have a baby and didn't want for it to go this far. She wanted to solve this problem by going to a notary and signing all of the card debts to her name. Also i co-signed a $25,000 loan to her too and and was told by a friend that I could sign that too over to her name but I would need another person to co-sign for her. Hopefully her father would do it if it came down to it.My question is if this was even possible to do all of this?

Only if the creditor agrees to let you substitute one co-signer for another and refinance the loan. It is up to them.
