Expunge Record

I have a arrest for malfesance in office, but the DA refused the charges. It was a felony charge which was over three years ago. I want to know how to get me record expunged.

Re: Expunge Record

You can file a motion to have all records of the arrest expunged. You can contact and attorney and he can handle that for you. Possibly you could contact the Clerk of Court's office and they may have forms which will let you do it yourself.

Re: Expunge Record

If the charges were dismissed, then you need to file a petition to expunge.....it is not very difficult, but you MUST make sure it satisfies the requirements of the State and wipes out all record of the arrest. You must understand that EVERY ARREST is kept somewhere and you can NEVER be completely confident that it will not ever show up. NO BRAG>>>JUST FACT.....
