Fingerprinting, mugshots, and rights not being read
I have a general question about arrests. In Louisiana, do you have to be fingerprinted and have mugshots taken when you are arrested? Also, my fiancee was arrested and was not read his rights, nor was he given any papers to sign stating that his rights had been read to him or that he understood them. In fact he signed no papers upon entry into jail. What do we do? He was arrested for 2 counts of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. He has been in jail now for 2 weeks and 2 days.

The problem has nothing to do with his "Miranda" rights. Those merely refer to the use of statements that he made against him in court.
The problem is that the government had 72 hours from arrest to bring him before a judge. If this was not done contact a lawyer to file a Writ of Habeas Corpus.
