Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Louisiana

Employment

I am wondering if an employer has the right to fire an employee if the employee is court ordered to attend a substance abuse class? The employee would have to attend the class on Monday mornings.

Your employer can fire you for any non-discriminatory reason (i.e. i don't like your hair, etc.).

They can definitely fire you for a substance abuse problem, if you have one.
